I'm Osaid Sharif, a founder and operator from Hyderabad. I co-founded CrazyRC, which went from ₹0 to ₹1 Crore in its first year, and I still run it today. Before that I was interim CEO of Iftarparty.com, CTO of Torq Electric, a business consultant to Solar Apex and a project manager at Detente Technologies.
I also spent five years at EdVenture Park, Hyderabad's student startup incubator, moving up from head of campus leads to the executive team to program manager of its hardware incubator. I mentored 200+ startups, helped run events for 50,000+ people, and as a lead instructor I trained over 2,000 students in electronics.
Everything I learned in those years now goes into one thing: D2C With Osaid, where my team and I help first-time founders build their own brand.

04 / The story
"I've spent my whole career building things. Some worked. One didn't. Both taught me what I now bring to your brand."

01 · SCHOOL & COLLEGE
Always the one building something.
I was the school captain who ran the science club. At engineering college I led the E-Cell, ran events and spoke on campus radio — and gave more than 50 talks at colleges about startups. I built things on the side too: a home automation system you could run with Google Assistant, a farm watering system that read the soil and switched the water on by itself. In 2019 I took my first job, building websites for clients.
In 2020 I co-founded Guardian, a startup to keep women safe — a jacket with a built-in taser that would shock anyone who tried to assault the person wearing it. We were incubated at EdVenture Park, built the prototype and the MVP, and showed it at the ASTRA Project Expo. Then we had to be honest: the technology wasn't feasible as a real product. So we stopped.

Five years at the incubator.
I joined EdVenture Park and went on to head its campus leads, a team of 100+ students across colleges, planning info sessions and events. I joined the executive team that ran the incubator day to day, mentoring 200+ startups, and was a core member of the team behind our biggest events — crowds of 30,000 to 50,000+ people, 150 to 200+ stalls and the prize ceremonies that closed them.
Then I became program manager of its hardware incubator, where I set up the makerspace from scratch. As a lead instructor I wrote an electronics bootcamp and trained more than 2,000 students. Together we built 200+ projects and prototypes. I helped companies take products from a first prototype to the finished thing, and spent three years as CTO of an electric-vehicle startup.

04 · IFTARPARTY.COM & CRAZYRC · FROM 2023 · AGE 23+
Selling to real customers — ₹0 to ₹1 Crore.
In 2023 I took on an iftar-box brand, Iftarparty.com — sales, packing and shipping every order. At EdVenture Park I met my partner, and in 2024 we started CrazyRC, an online store for premium RC cars, drones, crawlers and boats. In year one we went from ₹0 to ₹1 Crore. Neither was smooth. We learned what to show first, why people leave without paying, and why parcels come back — and we paid for those mistakes so you don't have to.
